Recording Engineer/Sound Designer

• Designed & supervised construction of Pro Tools 24 Mix Plus based studio in order to create audio division for established midtown post facility.

• Record, edit and mix VO, sound effects and music for on-air television and radio commercials.

• Composed music for test commercials and sales videos.

• Compressed audio and video using Quicktime and Real Producer for web distribution.

Recording Engineer

• Responsible for all in house recording for projects as varied as global on-air tv and radio spots, sales videos, new business materials, infomercials, and pro-bono fund raisers.

• Designed audio for annual "Stakeholders Meeting", a multimedia presentation held yearly at Waldorf-Astoria Hotel for over 1000 employees. Duties included recording live sound for video shoots, scoring music, sound effects editing, and mixing.

• Composed music for test commercials, sales videos, and industrial videos.

• Recorded voice over takes with in-studio talent, as well as with remote ISDN patched studios.

• Developed large sound effects database using Sonic Science SFX retrieval software and multi-disc changer.

• Received 1995 "Truth Well Told" Award for outstanding achievement.

• Created Music & Effects tracks for foreign language versions of American movies and television programs.

• Performed and recorded replacement audio on in-house foley stage.

• Restored audio on old film soundtracks using Sonic Solutions No-Noise workstation.

Assistant Recording Engineer

• Conducted sessions as overdub and mix engineer on many major label album projects with artists such as Lou Gramm, Sting, Phoebe Snow, Roger Daltrey, Lou Reed, Kevin Godley, Tino Gonzales, and Peter Gabriel, among others.

• Recorded vocal overdubs and mixed several songs on Grammy nominated album (Peter Paul and Mommy, Too, Best Children’s Album, 1992, Peter Paul and Mary.)

• Composed and recorded underscore music for test commercials and industrial video projects using New England Digital Synclavier and Direct-to-Disk system.

• Session guitarist on dozens of commercials and albums.

• Setup sessions for engineers. Responsibilities included mic placement, outboard patching, and automation recall on SSL and Neve boards.
